This has been dealing with with operational losses such as non working of counter services, cash machines and site security technology. Dale instruments carried power quality studies upstream and downstream to eliminate site power quality as a possible cause.

Call Centre

Load profiling surveys .Before new infrastructure can be added (computers, building expansion or additional electrical equipment) maximum demand profile surveys can help establish actual usage of maximum demand and identify free capacity.  Our surveys have helped clients better understand usage, install energy efficiency measures such as power factor correction and free up maximum demand capacity. A process otherwise costing money to purchase more maximum demand from utilities and possible new investment in supply cables.

Government organisations

Power quality issues in secure environment can have an impact on operation. We have been involved on sites where power issues due to site loads have had a disrupted affect. By carrying out a series of power quality surveys the responsible loads have  been identified and hardware mitigation installed.

Backup power supply problems.

We have been involved where back up power is coming on line with no power dips. Our surveys have established route cause of these problems and eradicated them.

Air Conditioning units and power quality.

To improve site efficiency different levels of Aircon temperatures are often set. We have been involved in monitoring the affect on power quality in particular Harmonics during these tests.

Independent validation of energy savings

A lot of businesses are installing energy saving technologies to reduce power consumption and reduce carbon footprint. During site operation the savings are sometime not transparent. This could be due to a number of reasons. We have carried out independent energy monitoring surveys to validate the savings.

EV Charging Points Free Capacity Surveys

We have carried out three phase maximum demand surveys, to establish free capacity on sites. This enables the site to negotiate with the electricity company the number of EV charging points allowed.
